How You Can Help Love of Kids

Why Donate?
Love of Kids Foundation is a non-profit charitable foundation. We depend on donations from people like you. Your fully deductible donation will be carefully leveraged to ensure that every child's learning style is understood and nurtured. With your help, we can continue to provide much-needed support to children who are struggling in school and to their families and educators.

What Does Love of Kids Foundation Do with Donations?
You can direct your gift to a specific Love of Kids program, or we'll use your donation where it's needed most urgently. All donations further our work to help children, families and teachers understand why a child is struggling in school and how each child can become a more successful learner.

You Can Help In Other Ways:

  • Volunteer at our annual events. We depend on volunteers to greet workshop attendees, decorate venues, prepare literature, make phone calls, collect sponsor donations, assist student guests, and send emails to interested parties. Love of Kids will always find a place for you to assist.
  • Provide tutoring. Are you a teacher with extra time for local children? Can you teach study skills or help students become better organized? Can you teach a craft or sport that may improve a child's self-esteem? If so, there are children in need of your help right now.
  • Mentor a child who struggles with self-confidence, self-esteem, or other issues. Some children have lost parents or been removed from their homes; others just need someone to talk to or a shoulder to lean on - someone who won't judge, but will provide encouragement and help them make good choices in the future.
  • Support our events and fundraisers. The adage "Every penny helps" is certainly true here!
  • Share your ideas. Can we do something better? Can we reach more people by doing something differently? Can you recommend a new course that we could implement in St. Maarten or on other islands? If so, we look forward to hearing from you!
